Kaleidoscope Park Foundation to host funder's gathering focused on strengthening nonprofits
FRISCO, Texas (October 20, 2026) – The Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM) and Kaleidoscope Park Foundation will host a Funders Gathering on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 9 a.m., bringing together community investors, philanthropic leaders, and changemakers for a strategic conversation about the future of the nonprofit sector in Collin County.
The gathering will provide an opportunity for funders to hear firsthand insights from CNM’s work with hundreds of nonprofit organizations across North Texas while sharing their own perspectives on emerging community needs, funding priorities, and opportunities for greater impact. Participants will explore ways to strengthen collaboration and ensure nonprofit organizations have the resources and capacity needed to serve one of the nation’s fastest-growing regions.
“Nonprofits are addressing some of our community’s most pressing needs, and meaningful change happens when organizations, funders, and community leaders come together to share knowledge and align resources,” said Shawn Jackson, Executive Director of the Kaleidoscope Park Foundation. “This gathering is designed to foster dialogue that helps strengthen the entire nonprofit ecosystem in Collin County.”
CNM works alongside nonprofit organizations throughout North Texas, providing training, consulting, and resources that help organizations build capacity and increase their impact. The Funders Gathering reflects the organization’s commitment to understanding the challenges and opportunities facing the sector while creating space for collaborative problem-solving.
Hosted in partnership with Kaleidoscope Park Foundation, the event will encourage thoughtful discussion around community investment, nonprofit sustainability, and strategies for supporting organizations that are meeting the needs of growing and diverse communities across Collin County.
